Matt Dean

Matt Dean, a San Jose, California native, is currently a junior at University of Southern California pursuing his BFA in Musical Theatre. Matt began dancing at age 2 at his mother's dance studio, South Bay Dance Center. Matt made his musical theatre debut at age 12 as Billy in Children's Musical Theater San Jose's Marquee Production of Billy Elliot the Musical. Matt reprised his role of Billy at Ocean State Theatre in Rhode Island, The Phoenix Theatre Company in Arizona, Berkeley Playhouse in California, and Cape Rep Theatre in Massachusetts. Other professional credits include: Disney's Newsies (The Phoenix Theatre Company) and Disney's The Little Mermaid (The Muny).
